Vetter Johnson Architects, Inc. was established in 1989 to provide quality architectural planning, design and construction administration services to clients throughout Minnesota.  With over forty five years of experience in the practice of architecture, founding principal, Steve Johnson, continues to recognize that successful projects require a high degree of personal service and a close working relationship between architect and client.

Since joining the firm in 2012, Tyler has been involved in a wide range of project types, most of which have been for clients representing local governments.  Recognized for his attention to detail, Tyler is also known for his responsiveness to clients throughout the course of each project and to contractors and construction managers during the construction phase.  After more than a decade with VJA, Tyler took on the roll of Principal Architect.  He continues to move the firm forward while also preserving the firms core principals which are rooted in straightforward effective communication, quality design and lasting client relationships.

The firm is structured in such a way as to allow consistent team participation on each project, from start to finish.  By maintaining a single source of responsibility through programming, design, document development and construction administration, we strive to enhance communications and promote a smooth running project.  VJA is assertive in marshalling the talented people and technical resources of our firm and consultants as we seek to deliver high quality projects.
