As Lyon County expands its upper floor courts facility, (see “Justice”) spaces below are being remodeled and constructed to better accommodate land records departments.  Soon, spaces for the Auditor/Treasurer, Assessor and Recorder will be located together and a common service counter will provide “one-stop-shopping” for the public.

In the addition, a new county boardroom and administrative offices is configured in such a way as to facilitate a separation between public and private circulation.

The exterior takes it’s cues from the adjacent administration building on one side and the jail on the other, while still giving the building a contemporary presence along Main Street.
